"Oooh, nice to meet you Serena~ and Artemis too~ oh she's gorgeous~" Cat had said, musing happily as she couldn't take her eyes off the Espeon, "I've got a Flareon, myself you see, but wow, Artemis is so pretty!" she'd chimed. Her scruffy old Perrserker was a bit of a stand-out between the two girls and the Espeon—the poor old thing just seizing the opportunity for a nap without a care in the world, "Ooo, right, this is Björn!" she'd quickly added on excitedly.[break][break]

"Mmmmm, I guess a burst of spontaneity would be pretty accurate?" Cat had cocked her head as she answered, her fingers on her chin to show she was deep in thought, "I heard this is a fun way to make new friends!" she'd giggled—though what Cat hadn't realised was that this was more traditionally a chance for those pursuing romance—nonetheless, she'd continued smiling happily, "what about you, Miss Serena?" she'd asked, tacking on the 'miss' or 'mister' as she usually would for the sake of being polite. She'd brushed some crumbs out of her Perrserker's beard and squared them away in a used napkin, cleanliness was important after all, but nonetheless she'd remained attentive and happy to listen.

Cat had ultimately been pretty innocent to the ideas of romance and such, rather oblivious in that regard, additionally oblivious to the direct damage she dealt to Serena by calling her a "Miss", a habit of hers to just be polite, and one that hadn't meant any harm—and that Cat would have had no idea was doing any harm and would likely continue calling poor Serena as such unless told otherwise.[break][break]

She'd smiled happily when it seemed Serena had laughed, at least it seemed she was having a good time, even if Cat wasn't sure why she was laughing. She'd nodded, listening attentively as Serena had pointed out that her reasons for being here were pretty much the same as Cat's, believing her without hesitation with a slightly silly look on her face, her lips pursed in an odd way that showed her focus on the conversation at hand.[break][break]

"Ooooh, yeah! I met this really cool person! She was a... video editor or something? Stuff about a blog...? Oh and I met a friend of mine! I was really happy to see that he was getting himself out there and trying to make friends! See, he was a little silly! When I met him, he was like, talking to an imaginary friend in a junkyard! But I'm super glad he's trying to make real friends!" of course, Catalina had been genuine in her happiness, recounting the people she'd met so far during these speed dates. However... the second person Cat had mentioned, the silly one who talked to imaginary friends was someone Serena may have known, even if the description Cat gave wouldn't betray his identity, she was in fact talking about none other than Rowan Wrynn, perhaps an unfortunate secret to be revealed another time.

Cat nodded and smiled, "hobbies sounds nice~" she'd chimed happily, she'd nodded along and mhmed with Serena mentioning she enjoyed dramas, though Cat hadn't much shared the same interests, she still enjoyed listening however. "Hmmm... I really enjoy camping and stuff, I guess you could say I'm doing everything I ever wanted to, going on an adventure like this?" Cat had replied, quickly adding, "being out in the outdoors, making good food over a campfire and stuff's really fun," though Catalina had paused for a moment trying to think further, "I do like to take naps with my pokémon," she'd finally added to her answer. Ultimately, it seemed that Cat was wholeheartedly focused on just being out there with her pokémon and her friends, most if not all the hobbies she had, even if she couldn't think of them or didn't think of them as hobbies so much as something 'normal' had been tailor-fit to help her best experience her first adventure.[break][break]

"Ooooh, how about--!" Cat had been excited about something, though she'd been cut off by the buzzer declaring that time was up, much to her disappointment! The conversation was just starting to get good too! Though, nonetheless, Cat, being the innocent yet honest kid she was, was a stickler for the rules, and if time was up, time was up.[break][break]

"Awww, oh well, I guess next time, huh, Miss Serena? I'm glad we met! Ooooh, and good luck making some new friends too!" she'd finally said, voicing her farewell and encouragements with a bittersweet smile, she'd waved good bye to Serena.
